Port of Southampton turnaround times 18/08/23

Please note that the Port of Southampton has been experiencing longer than average turnaround times this week.

There are no specific reasons for delays, although the summertime means a reduced workforce with a higher number of people on holidays. There has also been a slight increase in volume, with a couple of very large vessels having arrived this week.

The port is typically good at reacting to pressures, so we expect this to resolve to more acceptable timeframes soon.
