Port of Felixstowe closed due to high winds 18/09/23

Please note that the Port of Felixstowe is seeing intermittent closures due to high winds. 

We are awaiting further updates, but at present the port has shut off VBS slots and disruption is expected to continue for the next few days.

Please be advised that we are in receipt of a weather forecast which indicates that wind speeds will approach our safe working threshold on the following dates / times:

• Monday 18/09/23: 15:00 to 17:00 hrs
• Tuesday 19/09/23: 11:00 to 18:00 hrs
• Wednesday 20/09/23: 16:00 to 19:00 hrs

There is still some uncertainty in the forecast but in anticipation of some disruption and as a precautionary measure, bookings on the above dates / times have been reduced.

Please be assured that bookings will return providing operations remain unaffected.
