Overview of port operations
In Week 37, Alashankou port was still congested and the average reloading time was about 2 weeks.
On August 28, Kazakhstan announced a ban on the export of grain, bran, oilseeds and cakes to China from the Sakszolisskaya station. Considering that the second railway from Moyat station to Alashankou is also under construction, Kazakhstan extended the ban until September 20.
Overall, the transport time of the European line through the Alashan and Khorgos has been extended this week, the transport time from station in China to Malashevich is about 19-21 days, which is much higher than before.
Europe Direction
Outbound service: The overall supply and demand of outbound space on the European line is stable. This week, the price of other ports was stable, except for Chongqing port which decreased 400 US dollars. The space in Yiwu is relatively tight; the first express line on September 22 has been sold out, and there are a small number of spaces on September 29.
Inbound service: The inbound line is operating normally. Space of Xi'an and Wuhan inbound routing has been tightened, and all have been sold out in September. This week, the price of Duisburg, Hamburg, Marashevich to Chongqing increased 300 US dollars, in contrast to Dalian return down 300 US dollars.
