Australia public holidays and public holiday surcharge 27/09/23

With the upcoming public holidays / long weekend across Australia, terminals will remain open, and as a result, many vessel availability days will fall over during these periods.

• VIC - Friday 29 September - Friday before AFL Grand Final
• ACT - Monday 2 October – Labour Day
• NSW - Monday 2 October – Labour Day
• SA - Monday 2 October - Labour Day
• QLD - Monday 2 October – King's Birthday

Ligentia will be obliged to ensure that all export containers are delivered prior to cut-off date and imports containers are collected in order to avoid wharf storage throughout the public holiday. Any affected containers during this time will be subject to a public holiday surcharge.
