Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk sign agreement for new long-term operational partnership 19/01/24

Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk have announced they will enter into an operational cooperation starting February 2025. 

The collaboration, titled the ‘Gemini Cooperation’, will be implemented after the conclusion of Maersk’s current 2M alliance and when Hapag-Lloyd transitions from THE Alliance at the end of January 2025.

The Gemini Cooperation aims to:

• Improve schedule reliability, competitive coverage and transit times and accelerate decarbonisation
• Deliver a flexible, robust and interconnected network with industry-leading reliability
