Patrick Terminals has issued its Final 30-day Notice to increase its Landside & Ancillary Charges at its four container terminals in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Fremantle from 4 March 2024.
The following Landside Fee Increase Percentage have been announced by Patrick:-
Landside Charge (TAC) for Full Imports – 20% increase in Melbourne ; 22.52% in Sydney ; 25% in Brisbane & by 41.68% in Fremantle
Landside Charge (TAC) for Full Exports - 7.51% increase in Melbourne ; 7.53% in Sydney ; 7.51% in Brisbane & by 41.68% in Fremantle
VBS Booking Fee (Electronic) per slot – Melbourne, Sydney ,Brisbane increase by 15.06% & Fremantle increase by 14.98%
VBS-related and Ancillary charges increasing by percentages ranging from 7.50% to 9.55% including;
- Vehicle Booking System (VBS) Fees
- Side Loader Fee in each terminal
- CargoLink VBS Charges
- All other Ancillary charges
- Weight Amendment
- This Fee applies to all import containers determined by Patrick’s PONDUS calibrated container weighing stand to have a weight variance of greater than +/- one metric tonne than the documented weight.
- Weight Amendment Fees for export containers determined to have a weight mis-declaration
Out-of-Gauge (OOG) Container Storage - OOG cargo will continue to receive the standard three day free storage period, however will attract a higher charge rate.
Although we acknowledge that the price increases are never desired, we have no alternative but to pass them on if they are enforced.
