Hutchison Ports (Sydney & Brisbane) increase Infrastructure Levy and Landside Charges 15/04/24

Hutchison Ports Sydney and Brisbane are implementing changes to their Landside & Storage Tariffs following the completion of their review.

Both ports have experienced decreased throughput in the past year, impacting ability to recover costs and invest in future developments. Despite these challenges, Hutchison Ports remain committed to enhancing their facilities and services.

To address these needs, Hutchison Ports Sydney and Brisbane have announced an increase in their Infrastructure Levy, Landside & Storage and Handling charges effective May 13, 2024. Additionally, a Long Vehicle Fee is introduced to optimise operations.

Although we acknowledge that the price increases are never desired, we have no alternative but to pass them on if they are enforced.
