Shipping lines are implementing a General Rate Increase / Rate Restoration on all shipments from Asia to Australia and New Zealand ports. This change will take effect in the coming weeks and is in response to ongoing cost factors, ensuring reliable and sustainable services.
Effective Date: 01st May 2024 (Proforma Sailing Date or as per rating policy of each respective carrier)
GRI Quantum:
- North East Asia to Australia Trade: US$200 – US$500 per TEU (on both dry and refrigerated cargoes)
- North East Asia to New Zealand Trade: US$100 – US$150 per TEU (on both dry and refrigerated cargoes)
Effective Date: 15th May 2024 (Proforma Sailing Date or as per rating policy of each respective carrier)
GRI Quantum:
- North East Asia to Australia Trade: in the range of US$300/TEU or higher (on both dry and refrigerated cargoes)
- South East Asia to Australia Trade: in the range of US$100/TEU or higher (on both dry and refrigerated cargoes)
- North East Asia to New Zealand Trade: in the range of US$200/TEU or higher (on both dry and refrigerated cargoes)
The General Rate Increase will be added on top of current Spot / FAK rates, subject to all applicable surcharges valid at the time of shipment.
