Peak Season Surcharge and General Rate Increase - Asia to Australia & New Zealand Trade 12/06/24

Due to significant increase in demand and operational costs during the upcoming peak season, carriers have announced the implementation of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS), as well as further implementation of a General Rate Increase / Rate Restoration (GRI).

Details of the Peak Season Surcharge(PSS)
Effective date : 12 June 2024 until further notice (Proforma Sailing Date or as per rating policy of each respective carrier)
Trade Lane : Ex Asia to Australia & New Zealand
PSS Quantum: US$300 - US$500 / TEU
Applicable shipments: The PSS will apply to all shipments and container types

Details of General Rate Increase / Rate Restoration(GRI)
Effective date : 15 June 2024 (Proforma Sailing Date or as per rating policy of each respective carrier)
Trade Lane: Ex Asia to Australia & New Zealand
GRI Quantum: US$100 - $300 / TEU
Applicable shipments: The GRI will apply to current SPOT / FAK rates on both dry and refrigerated cargoes

Effective date: 01 July 2024 (Proforma Sailing Date or as per rating policy of each respective carrier)
Trade Lane: Ex Asia to Australia & New Zealand
GRI Quantum: US$500 / TEU
Applicable shipments: The GRI will apply to current SPOT / FAK rates on both dry and refrigerated cargoes
