Port closures as a result of worldwide IT outages 19/07/24

Worldwide IT outages have seen a number of UK ports close.

The main port system for Felixstowe, known as Destin8, has been experiencing issues since 06:15hrs.

As a result, Felixstowe and Grangemouth ports are currently closed. Southampton, London Gateway, Liverpool and Portbury ports are open and operating as normal.

We have noted issues with customs clearances for ports using Destin8, with access to the system currently intermittent. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely.

Please note the following ports use Destin8 for clearances Felixstowe, Grangemouth, Liverpool, Portbury, so there may be customs clearance delays which could affect deliveries.

We are actively working on resolving issues during this difficult time but it is unclear when the IT outages will be resolved. We will be in touch regarding any affected bookings.
