Advancing Smarter ETA Visibility via Ligentix, with Maritime AI

We're excited to share that following a successful proof of concept, Maritime AI is now being rolled out across our Ligentix customer base, bringing greater capabilities and insights into the movement of your sea cargo.

This new solution means that ocean shipments will benefit from Predictive Estimated Time of Arrival (P-ETA) for all users. This advanced capability replaces traditional, often unreliable ETAs with real-time, AI-driven forecasts, delivered directly within Ligentix, allowing you to plan with greater confidence and precision.

The challenge with traditional ETAs

Traditionally, standard ETAs from carriers have challenges, such as:

• Often inaccurate (up to 63% of carrier ETAs are wrong)
• Delayed updates when conditions change
• No visibility into weather disruptions, port congestion, or vessel re-routing
• Unexpected delays and increased demurrage costs

The Maritime AI advantage

P-ETA uses advanced real-time data, including satellite imagery, vessel tracking, port activity, and weather to generate ETAs that continuously adjust to evolving conditions.

Important deployment information

Maritime AI’s Predictive ETA applies only to new consol shipments created from 20th May 2025 onward. From this point forward, tracking is automatically enabled for every new applicable shipment. There is no change to in-progress shipments created prior to this date.
