Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) Management has advised that a further 2 employees have returned a positive COVID-19 test, bringing the total to 4 cases.
Contact tracing to identify possible close contacts and another deep clean of the facility is taking place.
At this point in time, it has not been confirmed when the terminal will be re-opened as the new cases will need to be assessed. An update on the reopening plan is to be provided by the afternoon of 25th September.
No slots will be released until we have a clear reopening schedule
- Extensions to import free time and storage paid through dates will be applied to all imports onsite in line with the period that we remain closed prior to resuming operations
- No LIST or NO-SHOW fees will be charged over the closure period
- Export cut off’s will be adjusted to suit revised vessel arrival times once those are locked in
