Please note, we have received the below update from DP World Australia:
Due to the ongoing heavy rainfall and storm activity experienced in Brisbane, there are currently no vessel movements taking place at our Brisbane Terminal.
VTS advise there will not be any vessel movements for the next 24hrs and the situation will be assessed at first light Tuesday, 1 March.
While rain has ceased overnight, the Brisbane River is still experiencing high water speeds and considerable debris in the river. This has been exacerbated by water being released from Wivenhoe Dam this morning.
We are pleased to advise that no damage has been reported at the terminal, nor berth areas, and the container stacks remains intact.
Brisbane vessel schedules have been impacted and we will be in contact with affected lines as soon as vessel movements resume.
Landside operations are working to the normal schedule at the terminal and access to Fisherman Island and the terminal remain clear.
Here at Ligentia we’re monitoring the situation closely. If you have enquiries about specific bookings, please don’t hesitate to contact your Customer team.
