The latest update on Shanghai lockdown impact 19/04/22

Shanghai continue to implement strict control policies, while the Shanghai government has begun to provide guidelines for work resumption.

Effect to our business and customers:

Warehouse: From April 18 – April 24

• The warehouse in Pudong is open, however productivity is lower than normal. Shippers need to advise the OP team in advance.
• The bonded warehouse application for resumption of work is in progress.

Terminal:

• All ports remain operational but productivity is lower than normal.
• Drivers will need APP approved code and a 48-hour negative nucleic acid test to carry out empty pick up and laden gate in.

Airport:

• PVG terminal is operating normally but lower productivity is expected.
• Vendor delivery continues to be difficult due to local policies.
• The airport warehouse is open but lower productivity is expected.

Trucking:

• Ligentia is able to provide a pick up service to support vendor delivery – as long as the factory confirms their location allows Shanghai trucks to come in.
