Shanghai Port Update:
- Port operations are currently normal.
- Vessel waiting time is 2-6 days due to port congestion.
- No equipment availability issues noted.

- Due to the Shanghai lockdown, reduced manpower is leading to lower productivity at the terminal.
Yantian Port Update:
- Terminals and ports in the area are open, with no direct impact to daily operations.
- Vessel waiting time is 2-3 days due to COVID-19 restrictions and port congestion.
- There is currently a shortage of 40’HC (mainly CMA and HMM – MSC is short of 40’HC in Nansha).
- No weather disruptions noted.
- As of 00:00 on January 29 2022, Yantian resumed receiving export laden containers with vessel ETB-7 (estimated time of berthing within 7 days).
- The laden gate-in quota will maintain at 12,000. This has been in effect since September 7 2021.
Ningbo Port Update:
- NGB port operation is running as normal; as per COVID rules, all drivers who arrange empty pick up and laden units require a Green code with a 24hrs Negative Nucleic Acid test before entering the terminal.
- Vessel waiting time is 7-10 days due to port congestion in Shanghai and Ningbo, and an unstable schedule.
- CMA are experiencing a shortage of 20’, and limited 40’GP available.
- HPL are experiencing a 40’HQ shortage.
- No weather disruptions noted.
- Capacity is quite tight, leading to vessel operation timelines changing on occasion.
Qingdao Port Update:
- Port operations are currently normal.
- Vessel waiting time is 1-3 days due to weather conditions.
- Most shipping lines have sufficient equipment, however CMA is short of 20’GP and 40’HC.
- Generally, the weather is fine, however May is the traditional fog season in Qingdao; this can lead to vessel delays but it is difficult to forecast.
