Freight train collision in Doncaster 06/07/22

There has been a train collision in the Doncaster area, involving two freight trains. One train has run into the back of another due to a possible signaling error, though the investigation is still ongoing.

Ligentia has not booked any deliveries / movements with either of the parties involved, therefore – at this stage – we are not expecting any of our containers to be on the trains involved.

Please note, however, that there are significant operations underway around the Doncaster area because of the incident. There may be some delays, but our Transport team and suppliers will update you should any deliveries be affected.
