The air market ex-Dhaka remains soft and DAC air freight market demand is in a stable situation. All factories resumed operations after taking time-off over Eid. Cargo volumes are slowly trending upwards now that factories have reopened and resumed production.
Space demand remains stable and air freight rate levels are also stable, but we are expecting cargo volume will begin to increase in the coming weeks and rates will slightly increase. Likewise, the price of Jet fuel price has started to increase and is expected to be reflected in the fuel surcharge charged by carriers a the end of July. Transit time is regular both to EU & US.
All scanners are functioning as normal. There is no congestion, and all other operational activities are going smoothly in DAC airport this week.
