ZIM have advised that their Oceania Services will be restructured as below: -
- C3A North China Australia Express – Temporary Suspension
Current Route: Xingang/Dalian/Qingdao/Pusan will no longer provide direct call to Australia however will connect to CAX 1st available vessel at Ningbo.
With the suspension of C3A service, market weekly capacity going into Australia East Coast expected to reduce by >2,000 Teu/weekly.
Last voyage: SEAMASTER V. 7 on 24th November 2022 at Xingang and schedule to end at Port Kelang on 6th January 2023.
- C2A South Loop Australia Express –Suspension (Replace by new service)
Current C2A Rotation: Port Kelang – Laem Chabang – Ho Chi Minh – Nansha – Yantian – Sydney - Melbourne - Brisbane
TFX Rotation (New): Ho Chi Minh – Laem Chabang – Port Kelang – Sydney -Melbourne - Fremantle – Port Kelang – Ho Chi Minh
New FTX service will be more SE Asia focus.
Last voyage: TZINI V. 7 ETD 18th December, 2022 at Port Kelang and then phase in to new service – Thailand Fremantle Express (TFX). Separated email will be distributed accordingly.
- CAX China Australia Express –Rotation Update
In order to have better structure and explore more opportunities, CAX will combine Central & South China to Australia. Vessel will be targeted to upsize soon once the vessel deployment is confirmed.
Current Rotation: Haiphong – Xiamen – Ningbo-Shanghai-Sydney-Melbourne-Brisbane
Last vessel: H MERCURY V6., ETD 9th December, 2022 at Haiphong
New Rotation: Shanghai – Ningbo-Xiamen-Nansha-Yantian- Brisbane- Sydney-Melbourne
1st vessel: CIMBRIA, V245, ETD 4th January, 2023 at Shanghai
Haiphong will connect TFX service to Fremantle (Via Port Klang), and service will commerce from mid December 2022
- N2A New Zealand to Australia Service –Rotation Update
Napier call will be added soon, vessel schedule is still under arrangement. Currently, rotation will remain unchanged until further notice.
