China's box ports have handled 219.3 million TEUs from January to September 2022. The Ports of Shanghai, Ningbo & Zhoushan and Shenzhen remain the busiest container hubs of China with 35 million TEUs, 26 million TEUs and 22 million TEUs, respectively.

COSCO closes China – Prince Rupert loop “CENX”
COSCO is winding down its standalone China – WCNA CENX service which was launched in Oct 2021 as a direct Transpacific BCO Express Line between China and the Canadian Pacific Northwest.
The five classic panamax vessels of 4,250TEUs will be transferred to the OCEAN Alliance PNW2 service.
Qingdao to Prince Rupert port pair formerly offered by the CENX will be features on the COSCO-operated OCEAN Alliance loop PSW2.
