• 45HC / 40HCNOR shortage, others sufficient

• Volumes leading up to Chinese Lunar New Year are not expected to be at the usual levels, but as carriers are implementing blank sailings in Dec, space is rather tight for 2H of Dec and 1H of Jan, 2023
• China further adjusts and optimizes COVID response by releasing 10 new measures including allowing infections with mild or no symptoms to take home quarantine and reducing the frequency of nucleic acid testing; a lot of infections happening right now in China cities and towns, thus we may expect cargo delay from factories

Ningbo Port Update:

• Ningbo Beilun operations are normal; per COVID preventive rule, all drivers who arrange empty pick up and laden units require Green code with 48 hrs Negative Nucleic Acid test before enter the terminal
• Vessel waiting time is 1-3 days

• Capacity is full but running better

Qingdao Port Update:

• Port operations are currently normal
• Vessel waiting time is around 0-2 days due to sailing delays

• New York/New Jersey: Vessel waiting time is up to 2 days due to severe port congestion.
• Norfolk: Vessel waiting time is down to 5 days due to port congestion.
• Savannah: Vessel waiting time is between 2-8 days due to labor shortage and port congestion.
  The terminal capacity is at 60% utilization. Dwell time for import is, on average 7.4 days. Last week, 6 container vessels were at anchor.

U.S. West Coast:

• Long Beach: Vessel waiting time is down to 3 days.
• Oakland: Vessel waiting time is up to 3-5 days due to high import dwell volume and port congestion.
• Seattle: Vessel waiting time is down to 1 day due to port congestion.

U.S. Gulf Coast:

• Houston: Vessel waiting time is 2-10 days due to labor shortage, and port congestion. There were 7 container vessels at anchor last week.
