HMRC systems downtime in January (CDS / TDR / GVMS) 10/01/23

Customs Declaration System (CDS)

Due to scheduled maintenance, you will be unable to access the online service from Saturday 14th January 2023 21:30 to 04:00 Sunday 15th January 2023.

During this time you will be unable to submit declarations and the submitted entries will be held in a queue until the service is resumed. You should use the service before the planned downtime to avoid any delays.

Trader Dress Rehearsal (TDR)

The related release will take place between 09:00 on Tuesday 17th January 2023 and 09:00 on Thursday 19th January 2023. During this period of planned downtime, you will be unable to use TDR service.  

Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS)

Due to scheduled work on the Customs Declaration Service, there may be some disruption to the online service from Saturday14th January 2023 21:30 to 04:00 Sunday 15th January 2023.

You will not be able to add import and export declarations or validate the goods movement references during this downtime. You should, where possible, add the declarations to goods movement references before or after this time.

The core service for the Goods Vehicle Movement Service will be fully available during the Customs Declaration Service downtime.
