• ZIM closes China – Los Angeles express loop “ZEX”

  ZIM has halted its China – California “ZIM Ecommerce Express” (ZEX), a loop that the Haifa-based carrier launched in Jun 2020 as a fast and direct connection between Shenzhen (Da Chan Bay and Yantian) and Los Angeles, which is service dedicated for “eCommerce” order.

  The only so-called “eCommerce” service of ZIM that remains active for now is the China – South East – Asia – USEC “ ZIM eCommerce Baltimore eXpress (ZXB). ZIM significantly upgraded this service in February to induce extra calls at Jakarta, Laem Chabang, Haiphong, Kingston and Norfolk.
