• Volumes are picking up slightly in July, but there are still generally low volumes in the market. Market remains soft across all trades. We are seeing an uptick in July volumes, and retailers are sharing that destination inventories are being worked through, with positive sentiment that Q4 volume will start to pick up

Ningbo Port Update:

• No weather disruptions
• Space is tight due to being occupied by empty units

• In early August, HMM will extend its ‘China - India Express Service’ (‘CIX’) to the Mediterranean. At the same time, the Korean carrier will re-brand the loop and call it the ‘Far East - India - Mediterranean Service’ (‘FIM’). (Source: Alphaliner)

• A.P. Moller - Maersk (Maersk) has made an order of six mid-sized container vessels – all having dual-fuel engines able to operate on green1 methanol. Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group will build the six 9,000 TEU vessels which will be delivered in 2026 and 2027. (Source: Maersk）
